MMA Sparring

MMA sparring (Tuesday 19:00-20:00)

Class description

This class is an opportunity to apply the techniques learnt in class in a controlled manner. The class will normally involve five minute rounds of MMA sparring but may also include sparring from individual aspects of MMA as well as situational sparring.

Class objectives

  1. Apply techniques learnt in class in a live situation
  2. Increase fitness

Equipment needed

  • Gum shield
  • Box/cup/groin guard
  • 14-16oz gloves
  • Hand wraps
  • Shin guards
  • MMA sparring gloves
  • Head guard (not essential)
  • Elbow and knee pads (not essential)
